Hello,

I have a new BlackBerry Bold 9000.
I have been noticing problems with the network connection. From time to time, I'm not doing anything on the BB and I see that the network connection is lost then comes back after 5 seconds then 2 seconds later lost again but for about 30 seconds. It always cuts twice just like that.

It is not very disturbing when receiving emails because I just receive the email seconds later but it can also happen while I am on the phone... And that is the big problem.

Is there a reason for this? I know somone else who has the same problem. Is this a known issue? Is there any patch I need to install to make it work better?

Thanks.

is this problem happening everywhere you are roaming to or specific spots? if its in specific areas its obviously a dead area. if you are getting it everywhere, you may want to try reinstalling your bold's OS (doing a full system backup first ofcourse) if the problem keeps occuring, i would contact my service provider and see if i could get a replacement phone.

Thanks.

Yes I have this problem just about anywhere I am and I did a little bit of research on the web and found very few people talking about this problem but the ones that were talking about it said that there would be a patch or something to make it work efficiently.

How do I reinstall the BB's OS ?
